May I ask you a question? It seems stupid probably and since u write so much abt techie stuff just wanted to know.

My gmail at home laptop somehow shows India time rather than US time. I changed the date settings for the computer, restarted it several times. however, it still shows India time only for the emails. Rest of the accounts are fine. Why is it happening so?

this was the only thing I could find http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en-uk&answer=7992 but it seems like you've already tried that.

You could also ask gmail support I guess.

I already tried this. I will try support. That is the only one that I had not tried yet.

Funny thing is i have two gmail accounts and only one of the is acting up like this. :(

try changing your timezone here: https://www.google.com/accounts/ManageAccount

I tried even this. Only one of my gmail account displays the right time zone...not the other. Thanks though.

It was the easiest way to have different themes for each of my themed blogs.
